The Rotary Plaza. Honoring the Past, Looking to the Future.

Rotary Plaza is sited at the corner of Franklin and Gallatin Streets, one block West of Historic Liberty Square. It was build by the Rotary Club of Liberty as a Rotary International Centennial Project and is a privately owned park open to the public. It is a landscaped resting spot with terraces and a wide variety of shrubs and ornamental trees and grasses.

Approximately 1,000 square feet is shaded by a permanent fabric structure pavilion, providing shade in the summer and a respite from the rain. This "Gazebo for the 21st Century" offers comfortable seating for 80 to 100 people, making this an ideal spot for family reunions, wedding receptions, or a summer night symphony performance.

The Pavilion is up-lit providing dramatic, sculptural element to the park that is beautiful as well as functional. Additionally, the permanent structure offers a full facility bathroom and "caterer's kitchen" with water, electrical outlets and serving counters making it a perfect special occasion spot.

Rotary Plaza is also a get-away place for the workers from the surrounding areas - a spot where they enjoy a beautiful, restful lunch hour; a destination point, not just for visitors to our square, but to the residents from the surrounding neighborhood.
